Digital Learning Academy Quarter 2 Enrollment is open until 12:00 Noon today. Any student that wants to participate in the Academy for Quarter 2 must register by 12:00 Noon. Students that are currently enrolled and want to continue with off-campus instruction through the Academy must re-enroll.

Due to the weather forecast, the football game at Waverly has been moved up to Thursday at 7:00.
Gibson County Football has added a game on the road at Waverly this Friday night at 7:00. Waverly will be selling tickets at the gate.
Sunday, 10/4/2020 at a special called School Board meeting, the board voted unanimously to continue the full Friday planning sessions. They plan to revisit this issue during the December board meeting.
A reminder that tonight's football game at McKenzie starts at 7:30.

A reminder that Coach Lownsdale will be selling football tickets for tomorrow's football game TONIGHT at the GC volleyball game from 5:00 to 7:30 at the front door of the gym. McKenzie will NOT be selling tickets at the gate so be sure to come by tonight and get your tickets.
Tickets for the Friday night football game at McKenzie should arrive Thursday. If you’d like to purchase tickets for the game, Coach Lownsdale will be set up selling them at the Volleyball game Thursday night from 5 to 7:30.

GCHS was made aware of a student who tested positive for COVID. We have identified close contacts, and they have begun the quarantine process. Our school district follows Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Tennessee Department of Health guidelines for the management of individuals who have been diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19. Classrooms, the cafeteria, etc. are being sanitized and deep cleaned using CDC approved chemicals and protocol. We will continue to do everything in our power to ensure the safest possible environment while continuing to provide education to our students.
